hose outlet behind dump pipe

Hi all,
I have a 1jz vvt-i out of a Chaser & want to know what the small hose outlet behind the dump pipe on the side of the block goes to or ...if it's even needed?.
Can anyone help please?.

Hi,

The small hose outlet, from the stainless tubing?, is for the vehicles heater setup.

If you choose not to hook the heater core up you'll have to cap this line.
