1j power choke

ive got an intermittant issue aswell. very low rpm, sometimes when warm or cold very hard to start as in starts then dies starts then dies. to get it to run i have to hold the throttle open slighty. driving on free = very rich can smell it!!! ecu caps have been replaced!! map sensor ok etc

Had a similar problem with a mates jzx90, just needed the tps calibrating.

Could also be a Dirty throttle body or IAC (Idle Air Control) Motor

take it too a decent trusted dyno shop.... if you have the cash of course
