i have done the gze to silver top bolt together
with a custom plenumn, single throttle body, gt28rs, haltech e6k
and i am getting a reliable 200kw at the wheels in my ta22 on 16psi
will find the dyno sheet and put up
its not the speed that kills you, its the sudden stop

forgot to mention there is some debate if they are made by ross or acl. I have talked to mahle directly about them.

The pistons in my original real low compression engine are ROSS as they have Ross forged into the underneath of them,
but they worked out to around 7.8:1 ratio with the ST head.

They were in the engine in the car when I bought it, and are probably 10 years old now since the car was first built, (but have spent the last 5 years sitting in the garage)

here is a pic against an AE101 GZE 8.9 piston.

    - 500hp+ 7AGTE 20V turbo -
    - MRS/Hayabusa turbo **sold**

    Your seeing things.

the one on the right is obviously a 16V one,

and the one on the left has 3 one one side for the inlet and 2 on the left for the exhaust of a 20V.

Exhaust cuts in a 20V and a 16V piston are in different places.

that aftermarket piston is a completly different design than my ross ones.(ure ones look nicer)

I spoke to the rep directly when he dropped of some parts and he said my pistons are 100% made by ross and the design was based directly on the stock 20v silvertop piston.

well that might settle it then. Your right about them being based off stock, its justthe stock design minus the dome and thats it. The 16V series is different though they are like a bird bath
