my mate robbo reckons dazza at the workshop can install a different blower on the bastards and get the thing doing massive stand stills and donuts in the intersections near the wreckers round the corner from macca's place blew the doors off the bloke with the Hq with a stroker and ripped my flanny as he went past. Almost pissed in me good stubbies and ruined my ugg boots.

Only problem with the engine is that they're fookin' massive. Look at the size of that bonnet bulge!

Which V8 would that be because there are 2 - the 3 valve which fits under the standard bonnet (they no longer use any more, went with the turbo 6) or the 4 valve BOSS?

I have seen an XR8 built with the wrong bonnet and it definitely wouldn't close.

not sure.... was quite a while ago when we did it, it was an early ba xr8 from memory.

Bought a complete VS Commodore with 98,000 klms for the conversion and only paid $3500, have booked a meeting with the engineer so to follow the correct procedures for rego.

We now have the Crown stripped to a bare body and have had the chassis profesionally modified and the new engine mounts in place, the transmission mounts are next and then we'll see about welding in the VS transmission tunnel into the Crowns floor also looking forward to setting up the rear end.
