    Only problem with the engine is that they're fookin' massive. Look at the size of that bonnet bulge!

    ba v8 bonnet bulge = completely for looks.

    6 cyl bonnet fits over the v8 no probs....
    There is no substitute for PUBIC inches

    Which V8 would that be because there are 2 - the 3 valve which fits under the standard bonnet (they no longer use any more, went with the turbo 6) or the 4 valve BOSS?

    I have seen an XR8 built with the wrong bonnet and it definitely wouldn't close.

    not sure.... was quite a while ago when we did it, it was an early ba xr8 from memory.
