Price of adjustable FPR is about the same as a JAYCAR DFA and I would much rather use something that can control injector opening times rather than a blanket fuel adjustment across the entire rev range.![]()
JZA: well i should be able to put an adjustable FPR on it, and wind out some pressure, lean it out a bit, but im not sure its the best solution..

I agree with chris, I would be going for a jaycar DFA over an FPR if youre trying to lean it out...
FPR's should only be used when increasing fuel pressure...

interesting thought.. i suspect however that my fuel pressure may be artificially high at low load due to having a smaller return and 044.. im definately intrigued though..
know of anyone using one with great success?
not on a 1jz but the guy just posted about his 4agze results is using one. Looks to be ok to me but as with all interceptors the closed loop thing you cannot get around. JCMF said that it has more tuning resolution than a SAFC II also and many people get good gains with them on 1jz's. For a cheap upgrade, I would use one
I would see if you can borrow a fuel pressure guage to see if what you are saying is correct. If it is, just get a bigger return line instead of a FPR![]()
I have a Jaycar FCD made up and as yet Untested.
I think it will be a while before I get to show ya'll the results as the cars still stock. I'll have to do the intake/exhaust/Intercooler mods first.

is that the same as the Digital Fuel adjuster? DFA?
