copped a roasting from the marshall cause the cold tyres spun exiting the pit onto the track, which apparently is considered "drifting" (despite tracking dead straight), and had me threatened with a "life-ban"

possibly the same one that told Mick (proper amateur race driver) to tone it down after he spun my JZA80 twice on a nearly completely deserted track 15 mins before the end of the day.

Lighten up ffs.

ffs, half the cars there can't do anything but spin the wheels on cold slicks.

I mean, severe clutch + cold slicks + need to reach 100+km/hr before you get rear-ended means there's going to be wheel spin

I can't believe they get away with not having a driver's briefing, you'd expect insurance/workcover would be on them like a tonne of bricks if an incident occurred.

Trust me, they will get hammered if something happened. Irregardless of what kind of indemnity you have to sign.

Didn't take a single photo sorry, and there was only a total of 9 or 10 cars there! Best day ever if you wanted to lap constantly..... if it was 20 degrees cooler outside

For once i'm 100% with Greg The stupid kents generally wave you on to the track at the point most likely to cause carnage, so carrying as much track entry speed as you can muster makes sense.
