You haven't met Jeff that runs Oran Park then.

Being a spanner must be a pre-requisite for managing a race track it seems.
    If in doubt power out

possibly the same one that told Mick (proper amateur race driver) to tone it down after he spun my JZA80 twice on a nearly completely deserted track 15 mins before the end of the day.

    Lighten up ffs.

edit: I thought you *spun*, not spun the wheels.

ffs, half the cars there can't do anything but spin the wheels on cold slicks.

I mean, severe clutch + cold slicks + need to reach 100+km/hr before you get rear-ended means there's going to be wheel spin

Trust me, they will get hammered if something happened. Irregardless of what kind of indemnity you have to sign.

So are there any pics from this event yet?

Didn't take a single photo sorry, and there was only a total of 9 or 10 cars there! Best day ever if you wanted to lap constantly..... if it was 20 degrees cooler outside

    lol, best word ever!!!

I'm surprised I've never met the wrath of this dude given the amount of time I spend off track, but I guess the poor little 4A is hardly menacing down the straight.

For once i'm 100% with Greg The stupid kents generally wave you on to the track at the point most likely to cause carnage, so carrying as much track entry speed as you can muster makes sense.
