Hello people,
Would somebody please give me some facts about the suspension for an ST185?
Are they the same as the normal (non-widebody) to a widebody version?
I believe it's not the same, considering the widebody has a wider stance and a bit more weight.
I read an article that the widebody has inherited a stiffer spring to compensate for the changes.
A friend of mine wants to buy a set of 2nd hand suspension from a normal ST185 to his widebody version and I don't want him to make a mistake.
Thanks heaps to anyone who responds.![]()

As far as i have ever seen they are the same....the GrpA 185 has higher spring rates (well mine did anyways). However, when i did my 330mm brake upgrade kit there was a 3mm difference between the caliper offset between my widebody GrpA and the US narrow bodies. Only a small machining issue i sorted so never looked into the why's in detail.

R.I.P.
I have owned both models simultaniously and can safely say that they are 100% identical.
strut towers are identical as are the springs.

Hello again everyone,
Another question regarding the similarities of ST184 and ST185.
I came across a set of coilovers from an ST184 it's in very good nik and I was wondering if this would fit my ST185.
Thanks again for anyone who have always been there.
Regards
Chris
