    Hi,

Did you try any gearbox places or maybe Castle Hill Toyota, or Penrith Toyota (one of our sponsors).

Andrew Vibert (another sponsor) may be able to assist you.

Throw out bearing is part of the clutch.
Spigot bearing is in the back of the crank.

IE, neither have anything to do with specifically a W50

There are 2 bearings at the front of the box, and 2 in the sandwich plate (remembering from memory)

But from memory you have to pull the box apart to replace them.

Personally I'd just either get another W50, or even a W5x and use a 21R/22R bellhousing.

Spigot bearing will rarely make a noise, and the throwout/release bearing will only make a noise with the clutch pedal depressed.

If that is what you were asking?

I'm not quite understanding ur syptoms mate, but i have spun 2 layshaft bearings in different w50's. I'm not sure if is a weakness, or whether i was simply unlucky.

Noise only audible when layshaft is running, ie: all gears but 4th.

After drivign the first box for a little while with noisy bearing, the shaft simply snapped! needless to say, i wanna fix up the second one asap
