...it seems like the top 5 teams go to sooooo much effort to get those little clear perspex trophies......hardly seems worth it.......still I would love to see Team Celica up there......Team Rising Sun will hopefully be mid pack again next year.![]()

Hey Silly, after the re-count from last weeks event we could be up there, it has taken us 5 years of trying to get the strategy right, and we think we have now worked it out, but later this week we will be a little more wiser.
Well I tip my hat to ya Trev if you get there cos at least it will have been done in the right spirit.![]()

We are hoping.
Some of the winners in the past have been accused of some dodgey goings on, we were next door to the Porches and didn't see anything un-toward, other than noticing well after the event that one driver driver appeared to do well in excess of the 40% time limit.
So what has come of this, Trev? Your results don't make sense. How has Neil explained them?

No, not yet Slim, they are taking their time on this one, I got an email from Neil yesterday saying they are still meeting about it and reviewing stuff, he did say that the times on Natsoft are incorrect - no surprise!!!
I knew it..........there was no way I was doing 1.57 laps......pfft....more like 1.37!......damn Natsoft and those dorian timers![]()

My Dad and i have created a spreadsheet that calulates the goal laps, percentages and achieved laps, etc. The number of goal laps for your team seems incorrect.
Using the spreadsheet and the results from Team Celica I worked out that we would have jumped at least 15 places if we had all set out nominated times just 1 second faster.

It is a tough gig to get right, it is all about strategy, we thought long and hard about ours and we were pretty confident with it, but having the XE die a couple of times and then The Daewoo stopping near the end didn't help, but we were all surprised with 13th, we felt a op 10 and most likely close th 5ish.
Based out one of our team mates working out with the numbers on Natsoft and having our times entered corectly, it would have put us into at least 3rd, and then considering the time spent by one Porsche driver, well . . . . . . . . .
I made a couple of assumptions with regard to what you and your mate should have nominated and i calculated you would have come 5th.

I nominated 1:44, he nominated 1:46, it will be interesting to see what you come up with.
I did it a week ago, but from memory i assumed your time correctly but i think i put in 1min47sec for the other guy.
I'll punch in the correct time and see what it calculates.... When i get home from work.
