I'm keen, but whether it's feasible, both in regards to money (not so much for the entry, but for the other things necessary to do prior to racing) and in regards to the readiness of my car.
Entry would be in the region of $240. That's my guess. Looks like there's a spot if you're keen.

It's not a cheap weekend... you need to factor in food, accommodation, petrol to get there, on top of the entry fee and car preparation costs etc.

Apart from that its cheap
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Just spoke to Shamo, he's bolting the head on tonight. Should be a runner this weekend and is keen for the test and tune day on the 3rd September.
I'm sorting out the brakes and getting an alignment this week for mine, then it's going to Pac's for panel work.
Hecate - If your car is running reliably at this point, that's a better start than most of us. But yes, if you're interested - there are the expenses Slim pointed out. It is however an awesome evnt and everyone involved has a great time over the weekend.
Assumption is the mother of all f**kups...
...best just to say you'll do it Hecate and then start paying for the costs....cos if you try and add them all up before hand you would probably talk yourself out of it.....which would be a shame as everyone who has competed knows it is an awesome weekend...first year I did it I spun a bearing and the 2nd year i destroyed a diff but here I am back for my third crack at it cos it really is that good![]()

Yeah, I'm not so worried about the costs for competing and such, more the costs for getting the car ready. Will need a new clutch, need to get a whole bunch of parts that I have lying around *onto* the car, and these are more the issues, along with the fact that I probably wouldn't end up with the car ready to race.
I'll think about it, and see how I go 'til next week (I won't have the money for the entry 'til I get paid next week anyway)![]()
Just a bit about Dazza... he likes boys, his white pulsar is actually a purple excel, and we'll have to keep an eye on him to make sure he remembers which way the circuit runs. He's a bit special...
well, none of the above is true... I'm just trying to encourage him to sign up so he can stand up for himself![]()
This Dazza guy sounds like he'd get on well with Joey.![]()

New additions: RA23 Circuit racer. 180sx drift box. R32 GTR Daily. MS65 Crown cruiser.
There will be only one "Pedders" team at the 6 Hour this year, the original J & A No Bull Racing (our team) which has been in this event since the start.
And a revelation, whilst we will be wearing "our" team shirts from last year, we won't be putting any effort into winning the "Best Presented Team", our focus this year is to finish in the top 3.
I'm definitely not putting in the same effort this year for the shirts and shit... I would like to see us in the top 10. Fancy shirts won't help us with that.
Have you got a plan for how you're going to improve from 12th last year to a top 3 result? Or, is your strategy based on hopes and dreams?![]()
