i do not have wheel decoder setup at this moment. my MS2 has always configure to run in distributor pick-up mode, and spark is distributed by the distributor. its running off the 4 tooth VR sensor though..
has to be '12' in the MT configuration - is 50% of crank speed - and yes, rpm will be calculated on the bigger (primary) wheel

On mine the 24 tooth wheel generated the NE signal (crank), and the decoder settings were 12 teeth, 1 missing, skip 6. These were the setting suggested by Bruce Bowling in one of his posts on MSEFI.

You should be able to just wire the 4 tooth wheel up instead of the 24 tooth and use it in distributor pickup mode. This would essentially make it the same as my AW11 bigport, which the NE wheel only has 4 teeth. This would save you having to grind anything and you won't even have to pull the dizzy apart![]()
