    we have left paul
    we stayed untill 12;30
there was about 20 cars there which was a shame, as this event is is usually full
simone naomie timbo and myself represented the toyota community
there was a clean looking later model celica there but we didnt catch up with the owner or get a piccy of it

how low do you want to go

this was a neat little 32 ford
it had a honda bike engine in it it was done real well

there was this robot there that was popular with the kids
    very clever

It was nice to be able to give the Celica a run, although it now looks different to those photos.

I'll post up a pic when I get home, Naomi and I are both fine, but drivers side guard isn't.

    It was the next corner.

Turned left onto the ring road, completely lost it, drifted backwards across 2 lanes and flattened a sign post.

We're very lucky we didn't plow into, or get plowed by, another car.

Damage shown below is better than it was earlier, as I had to pull the guard out to drive it home

I am glad you are both o k, Sounds like it was a eventful day. Didn't go as it was bucketing down here and did not want to risk the old girl in the wet. Simon yell if you need any help with the repairs.

Don't think there's anything bent suspension wise, but something has shifted as there's extra road noise from that area whilst driving, and the wheel alignment is out also.

Shannons are fixing the lot (yay for $200 excess) and PAC will be doing the repairs. May even get him to do the rest of the car whilst he's at it.

    its funny how things co-incide
i was at pac's today when the shannons guy rang me about insurance for my cars
i mentioned if there was a way we could all get a group insurance through the car club
he agreed and thought that it was a good idea, he is going to get together a proposal and get back to me
i will post up the insurance proposal details later
