    its with regret that I AM CANCELLING THE CRUISE TO NARBETHONG
    DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST
    only 4 people expressed any interest and i had to let the pub owner know by the 4th nov
    i cannot wear the booking cost for only a handfull of people

    That's what i was thinking. I said "i'm in" right from the start. The actual date didn't concern me so i was just keeping an eye on the thread waiting for it to be finalised.

    Is there a need to make a booking? Why not just meet up somewhere, go for this cruise, head to this pub, and if there is a whole lot of us, phone ahead on the day?

    What he said. Ian, why not start a new thread and list all the current people interested. There are people who I'm sure would be keen to cone, but may not read the forums. Is there a problem with just showing up at the pub(but phoning ahead?) this is what we have done in the past...
