ECU is fixed but a bit sceptical on reliability...
Cant do any testing cause I just swapped steering racks and not getting an alignment till Thursday and don't wanna hurt the new semi's.
Might even be trailering it down yet.

What's the issue, a fair few of us are using them on 4A's now so it'd be good to know of any potential problems.

The ECU died about 3 weeks after my tune and has been back to the manufacturers.
Havent got a straight answer as to what caused it.
They havent blamed my wiring but they havent admitted a fault
didn't get charged for the new hardware...
so it's sort of a fuzzy warranty fix.

"..fixed your ECU, including replacement of the microcontroller.
We added a few components to the board so the hardware matches the newer e420c units, including a few more protective components. "

Seriously though, like Shane i'm suprised at the poor numbers, everyone seemed to be keen as for this a few months ago. Definately the poorest showing i've had - i've put 5 spots back in the pool!

I will still be able to get a spot or two for any last minute-ers as we're not full, but it looks like there's going to be plenty of tracktime for those of us who are going.

My presence here has been sporadic lately so if anyone is keen for a spot best bet is probably my mobile - 0406 998 108. Those of you coming can you please doublecheck i've got you on the list and have confirmed i've received your money, same for accomodation and who's meeting us on thursday night.

In other news, Toll Ipec are useless fucking ****s. Tyres sent Thursday have still not arrived despite repeated phonecalls and chasing up, going over delivery info 18 fucking times. They have however 'assured' me they will be delivered today. However after the last 3 days of failed attempts i'm not overly confident they're going to turn up on Melbourne Cup day...
