    Default '96 4x4 Hilux 1UZ-FE

    Hey Guy's and Girl's.

So I've alway's said Im going to do this conversion, so here I go.

    Minor Details:
    body/chassis - LN111R 1996 extra cab 4x4 hilux with IFS
    engine - 1UZ-FE from my UZZ31
    trans/axle G52/G895

I expect to have this on the road before May 1st 2009, yes, i realise that give's me about ten days. I also realise what's involved in a conversion like this, I have done a 1UZ into Hiace conversion and also a 1UZ into JZA80........

    Wish me luck...........

You plan to run the G52 behind the 1UZ?

What Clutch are you planning on using?

10 days? I wish you much luck.

If you are on the bayside in Brissy and need a hand I would be happy to help. I am planning to do this conversion to my LN65,

Hope it goes smoothly for you and I look forward to updates.

I planned on using the R box but it just wasn't possible to get the right bellhousing and i had no option really. What I've done is make a flywheel to suit the hilux clutch basket, this way the clutch may give the G52 a bit of comfort. If I had 35's on the hilux I wouldn't waste my time with the G52..

today I'm modifying a celsior sump, tried the soarer sump lastnight knowing it wouldn't work (fouls the front diff really badly)

Bellhousings are available for the R and W series transmission to the UZ engine along with billet flywheel.

i know we can get them, but having one in a matter of hours wasn't possible, i had to beg to get a CRS bellhousing, they told me 6-8weeks if i ordered enough on the spot, or wait longer if i only wanted one

Looks like it's going to be a busy week to get this thing done by thursday, i've decided to do a few other mods at the same time ie. build a new tray, do a body lift, retain the aircon and relocate the battery. so the heat is on!!! still confident tho
