probably wont find any aftermarket extractors for the 1uz, they will most likel have to be custom....
oil filter relocation kits you can get from almost any auto shop.....as they use the same oil filter as 50% of toyotas,
hi all can anybody suggest a set of extracors for a 1uz in a hilux and who supplies a remote oil filter setup. thanks neil.

You wont find any who makes bolt on extractors especially for a hilux, Your only option is custom items... Sorry but I'm in the same boat as you man as soon as my engine is all wired up its off to get a custom system made up.....
hi neil, how's your 1uz hilux coming along? I made up my own "remote" setup, wasn't very hard
hi nilprospects still collecting parts but i plan to start on it in the next couple of weeks. will take a bit longer as i have to paint the engine bay purple (?) at the same time. whrer in queeensland are you. neil
goldy bro, you?
toowoomba. possible of photos of the filter setup?
here's a quick pic till i have van up on stands again, filter position is just temporary till i make a bracket. at engine end of hoses, i've cut up a piece of 10mm plate and tapped a thread into it for some push on fittings. this way, i have many location options, and even add a cooler if needed

Neil
Mate i don't know if this helps at all.
But the best standard headers to use will be the celsior ones.
I will be making some extractors eventualy
until that happens the celsior is the best flowing stock ones.
I am doing the same conversion late next month on a surf
1uz supercharged and using the auto box out of the surf
Yer i know what a sluggish box to use but the wife will only drive an auto
and she has to be able to drive it as well
hi i have bought some CAE headersthat they tell me that they fitted in a surf with a very minor dint to clear the steering shaft and they really look the goods. haven't tried them in the hilux yet but shouldn't be too much more trouble, neil
Neil.
CAE
who are thay mate and a contact number if you can
it will save me re-inventing the wheel
cheers
Lew

lew - i had quick try of the headers today in a spare chassis - mines a rzn149 and tryed them in a rn85 and they hit the steering shaft badly. should be able to modify it to fit though
