Ooh, I am keen to get to this one!

I recon I should be able to get the old girl to a state where I am game to leave the outskirts of town by then.

My plan would be to leave Rockhampton in time to attempt catching up with a few of you guys at the Qld border early friday morning... Would be great to have company while travelling through enemy territory -

Note to self, wife is going away in early 2010 for a week... Wife will not wish to attend toyota nats... First statement will be my pass to this event. Repeat until entirely sure argument is memorized...

    Cheers,
    Jason

Hey Charles and all you guys from TCCQ where are we staying? Are we doing a group booking or is it take care of yourself?

I think Gerrard and I will be taking the thursday off work so we can drive down during the day, especially if we each take a car as theres no way I will be able to drive that distance on my own at night, i just get too tired and im into taking those sort of risks.

Gerrard & Dana: you have to ring the Matilda and book your own accom - but ring Simon first in case he's booked a room and has some spare beds.

all: I'm looking bad financially (new bub + his mum's enthusiastic shopping-with-credit-card not helping) so I may be giving this a miss yet again :-( If I win the lotto before-hand then I'll be therer with bells on.

And i note that River's not making it to Dubbo this year So there is obviously a big question-mark over his sexual orientation - and Simon could probably win the classic/original section of the Show-n-Shine if he brings Jeanelle's car

    Hey guys,
Since there's only a few (very) short weeks to go, is there any sort of organized convoy with a fixed route to Dubbo? Actually anyone else for making the drive down with would be sweet!

I need to know where I can meet up with said convoy and what time - cos I'll have to be on the road 7hrs earlier.. If you all are going inland route then I'd like to aim for catching you on the Qld border somewhere.

Is it protocol to have a CB radio? If so just how cheap of a radio will suffice?

My mobile is 0438 154 499 in case anyone wants/needs to catch me on a different communication media!

    Cheers,
    Jason
