going to run the dizzy from the same location, in the 7m-gte block with the 5m oil pump shaft driving it (has teeth)

hopefully this way the dizzy wont be like every other 7m and cook its seals from sitting right next the the extractors.

so after some careful thought and machining we have taken this:

and ended up with this. coincidentally the distance from the flange on the balancer to the end of the crank is exactly the same as standard 7m.

that be a fully timing BELT driven, 5m-e crank'd, short stroke 7m. front of motor work is now pretty much done.

motor will be run pretty much "as is" with no covers and crap, however we will need some sort of TDC marks for the cams and crank obviously.

Use RB26 ITB's on a custom manifold? Or get an adaptor plate made so you can use the RB manifold?

TBH what i am doing (5m vs 7m) is a lot like 1j vs 2j..... shorter stroke for more revs except my 80thou overbore will make up for most of the lost capacity

a 1JZ Revs like a king 8500rpm has been my limiter for ages once the new valve springs come 9000 will be no issues.

as for my Plate for rb26 TB on 1jz i want to find some one who makes it before i can buy it

sure is lol its the biggest of the 650 double pumpers.... doubles the throttle area of the standard 7m TB and wen i hit the loud pedal those accelerator pumps are gonna dump fuel in quicker than i empty a bottle of scotch
