For the sake of $10 just get the genuine metal toyota one (guessing its a toyota turbo), make sure the feed/return is dead flat .

hey guys
i've always made my own gaskets for oil pumps, etc using gasket paper from repco
need a gasket for the oil feed & return to a turbo, are there likely to be any problems with the gasket paper in a higher temp environment like this? obviously the actual turbo flanges use metal gaskets, but this is just for the oil feed/return.

gasket paper works for the return.
im assuming you know to use the aviation non-hardening sealant on the gasket paper, to avoid any dramas.
the feed is under pressure and is usually a banjo setup and should use a copper washer, you can get a pack of these for 2 bucks at your local auto store...

Punctuation is the difference between 'I helped my Uncle Jack off his horse' and 'I helped my uncle jack off his horse.'
+1 for buying the copper washers for the bango oil feed..... the oil return is under no pressure at all its gravity fed to the sump
