Hmmm, i've got an A series manual at home somewhere.
I'll try and dig it up after work for you.

I happen to have a few pages scanned in from the engine mechanical section. This one has valve stem oil clearance and rocker shaft to arm clearance. Is that what you need?

If not, you'll have to wait for me to bust out the scanner when i get home.

That doesnt even show the tappet clearances or valve to rocker clearances.
Here they are:Valve clearances done hot Inlet 0.20mm,Exhaust 0.30mm.
    Cheers Brett.

Any chance someone with a A series engine manual can tell me where alll the vacuum lines should go for a 4A-c in an ae71?

Sorry dude, there doesn't seem to be one in the A series manual i have (this might be due to different emissions gear in different countries).
In the carburettor removal procedure, it just says "Note: Before disconnecting the vacuum hoses, use tags to identify how they should be reconnected"

    Very helpful

An AE71 specific manual might have it, otherwise you may need to stick your head under the bonnet of a working AE71 and take some photos and notes.

Thanks for having a look. My search in here found a thread river created back in the dark ages, that has some good engine bay shots, with a bit of luck I can wing it from that.

    Cheers for the effort!

Hi Silver, I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if you could tell me which thread had those engine bay pics please?
