So the mounts are on the F series, all i need now is an RT142 IRS tailshaft and some suitable handbrake cables...

Had a look at some RA65 IRS F series drum handbrake cables today and they seen to have much smaller drums and are different where they connect into the back of the drum so dont think they are going to work. Hmmm.

I might go back and grab the hbrake cables from the tarago i got the diff from and see if i can adapt them somehow but i dont like my chances. From memory the tarago cables ran in a weird way around the motor and they werent the same length as each other. Worth a shot i guess tho.

I've done some more research on the tarago diff and apparently they have a g series bolt pattern pinion flange. You will either have to get a flange off an ma61/rt142(irs)/ra65 or re-drill the flange you have on there now for the ma61/rt142(irs)/ra65 rear shaft to work.

Ah fuck! So it won't bolt straight in, trust the F diff i got to use a diff bolt pattern!

I wonder how out it is, did you get any measurements? Re drilling seems like a fairly easy option.

Yes it is only for vans/commercials and mz12s for some reason they decided to put the g pattern flange on

    Absolute champ.

    Same spigot OD, good.

So at 2.5mm difference on each corner it should be easy enough to drill out the tailshaft holes to make it work and still hopefully have enough strength to take some abuse.

Then to sort out the handbrake issue, got something in mind.

Ill find a tailshaft and see how i go, cheers for all your help mate!
