small update on my car..

getting some new tires for my dishy 10's...

235 40 18's.. stretched over a 10" rim....mmmmm...

and my diff is now in the safe hands of Adz..

Friday- the wheels will be fitted, car serviced, dropped on its nuts and ready for funtime..

brakes go in hopefuly Wednesday, if not, they'll be in Thursday, then she'll be ready....took it for a thrash and some high G cornering, corners flatter than my old ma61!! (she is now gone)

No but it's pretty filthy from the run down to narrogin the other week i swear bugs actually penetrate body work at 180 kays.

It turns just fine for the record its all about finesse with that much FWD power you gotta remember on ultimate its a near enough to 285HP at the flywheel motor so its definitley not a slug and if you can enter the corner with some degree of sanity you can get some kick ass driving out of the aurion hey.

JUST TO RE-ITERATE FOR PPL NOT PAYING ATTENTION;

The event is THIS sunday the 18/10 try and be there at 12 so we can all meet up get to know each other/catch up etc. And FYI weather forecast reads "Fine humid change developing 28degrees max"

GROGAN ROAD Off Horrie Miller Drive near the airport.
You should have LONG pants & sleeves & a helmet.
NO Loose objects in the car.
And ideally inflate your tyres approx 4-5psi higher than normal road driving pressures. (i'm aware most of us usally run correct pressures for thrashing anyways but i have been told to tell you.)

On a side note it wouldnt hurt for everyone to check all fluids such as brake and clutch fluids as we have had a few ppl have to run off and buy some mid event before and for the love of god fill it up with petrol!!!
