Anyone??????
Ok ive searched everywhere but cannot find clear and exact instructions on how to hook up an oxy sensor to a Silvertop ecu.
I have a universal 4 wire sensor with 2 wires for the heating element a ground wire and a sensor output wire.
And there are 3 o2 sensor related pins on the ecu
N8 - HT - Heated oxygen sensor
M6 - OX - Oxygen sensor
M13 -OXL1 - Oxygen sensor
So i'm assuming I should wire one side of the heater element to and ignition switched +12VDC
and is the other side wired to N8 and pulled to ground by the ECU to activate the element?
and should the ground wire of the o2 be wired to a chassis earth or N9 on the ECU (sensor ground)?
and as for the sensor output, M6 or M13?
Or do I have it completely wrong?
Anyone??????
ht is o2 heater ground
other heater wire goes to 12v from efi relay will be black/red on std 20v harness
ox is o2 sensor signal normally black on std 20v loom
and o2 sensor ground is last wire which is normally brown but i thought
it normally goes to sensor ground as im not sure on that oxl1 wire
Doesn't the o2 sensor get earthed through the flange?
nope
earth thru loom
This is correct. Also here is a diagram for reference http://sites.google.com/site/chinozie/20v_wiring_a.gif

Did you sort your O2 sensor out and confirm its operation with a wideband?
