Yeah, if you're driving an unapproved modified car and you have some sort of accident... if the insurance company finds out, then your insurance is void. A lot of people take that risk, and a lot of ppl think it's stupid. You've gotta decide for yourself.
As for the swap, mounting the package is actually not a big job. The other stuff you should do in the rusty shell to make the swap easier is:
Tailshaft
Wiring
Exhaust
Cooling system
Intercooler
Fuel system
If you're doing it yourself with the right tools, you'll find that the mounting takes about 1 weekend... all the other stuff will take about 5. And that is doing it hastily.
