hey mate, here in aus the next spec up from the st , the SX has 5x100 as standered with disks all round ? perhaps its the same in the usdm ?
Ok, im new here. And I just bought a project car (Which I will have pics of the project tomorrow). It is a
1987 Toyota Celica ST Coupe (My fav next to the all-trac)
Anyways I have two question's. Is there a 4 to 5 lug conversion for the ST162 chassis.
And, is there any adjustable coilover kit you can use on the ST162 chassis from another yota?
Im a Nissan guy going to toyota =P
I don't know that much about the different chassis and I figure asking would be quicker then research.

Hmmm, so you think we have the same chassis? If its just a different type we should? Right? DAMN, looks like I might have to go do some research..lol.
Can you swap that?
Not 100% sure on the coupes, but the GT-S (US spec)hatchbacks have the 5 stud parts, use toyodiy.com to gather part numbers between yours and a ST hatchback, if the numbers line up you should be able to swap most of it over. If you do this I believe you'll need to change the drive shafts hubs and possibly gearbox? Or just take the whole lot out of a GT-S and swap it over.
As for the coil overs, you can do some small modifications to make st185 (all trac from 90-94ish?) units fit on the front, but the rears apparently are completely different, which isn't surprising. You'll be best off using some struts and a sleeve kit.
