    Cause if there was a leak it would atleast idle...this is not a normal leak it has to be huge, cause engine not getting any boost even without wastegate operating.

    Im going crazy cause of this problem.
    ive taken the turbo, manifolds, piping and intercooler to check all clamps, hoses pipe work but still cant seem to find it. And its not easy to work on the car cause everything is accessed from under the car.
    did it keep running after you blocked air intake and before blocking bov?

    Yeah engine was running after i blocked the intake the bov was opened(cause of the vacum) but after i completely blocked the bov it would die.

    Im running a microtech LTX8, was recently tuned about 3 weeks before the problem.

    Ive taken the turbo apart and checked for any bent blades all blades seem fine. no shaft play...it free spins for about 30 sec or more after engine is turned off.

    correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't the bov be shut?
    is it aftermarket bov?

    the bov is opened cause of the vacum the engine creates.
    the bov is closed only when the there is no vacum or on boost.
    Im using the std S15 bov. so it more of a stealth sound very quite.

    Yeah ive even tried blocking it off completely.
    doesnt make a difference

    bugger m8 did u check and make sure both turbo impellers are solid on the shaft i.e. impeller doesn't spin on the shaft

    Yeah checked that while turbo was off the car...tight as. there is no chance for it to slip.

    well it would near have to be a leak somewhere i take it all is ok between head and turbo (exhaust manifold etc.), piping on intake side or intercooler maybe? other than that m8 i got no idea srry

    Thanks anyway....this is problem is got me stomped.....just cant figure out what else could be wrong.

    OK. you need to check the vac hose that goes to the ECU.
    Is it still connected / crimped? ( it may have blown off ) cause if its not the ECU will not no the motor is recieving boost.

    Do you have a hand set for the computer? the reason i ask is mabe you were looking through the hand set and accidently changed a setting like the turbo / Na setting

    Have checked the vacum hose but no problems with it.
    No i dont have a hand controller. i cant have changed the settings.
    but even with a na setting the car should still boost. ive driven it with a n/a cpu for a while when i first got the turbo on the car, drive fine just a bit rich thats all.
