A pity you guys couldnt make it, was a really good turn out imo was really good to meet a few more fellow toymodders and their rides

I had a great afternoon and I think the cruise was a real success and Kev will be smiling down upon us all in appreciation. Although I never meet him or spoke to him, it was very moving moment being there at the cemetery today In his memory.

I say well done to everybody involved organising and thosse who were able to make it.

    some pix...

Yeah without a doubt it was a really awesome day
That rock at the Elephant rock place that i drove over was bloody annoying hahaha. Scraped the shit out of my resonator, there was shards of metal on the rock hahaha

Was lots of fun though, And yeah Kev was really impressed i'm sure, he made sure we were all safe too on our journey!

By safe you mean having Jim fang the crap out of his car in pitch black darkness trying to get as much as his battery would give him before his car died before Sthalz_ae86 gave it more juice than yes!!! safe

Funniest moment, when it died in the middle of a busy intersection with me, paul (sthalz) and jim pushing it like a mofo to push start.... with no avail haha

It was a deeply touching day for me, as i reflected on the places Kev used to poke his nose under and check out other people's rides... and especially because his family including Mr and Mrs Gibbs, his brother Steve and his fiance, Jimbo and his fiance all making it for his day.

The turn out couldn't have been as good if it wasn't for the amount of support this community has expressed to his the Gibbs family and i'm 100% sure they appreciated you all.

Thanks for a hassle free day, to all those who still came even with their rides, for those who cooked (go alexia and hen!).

If only Kev could see how much he meant to everyone he'd be smiling. Cheers everyone!

This was actually my first Toymods cruise and I really enjoyed it. Great day and a great cruise.

I think my funniest moment was BiGbEn snoring in the back of Paul's car on the way home after a long day (unfortunately I missed the photo opportunity, or should I say fortunately for Ben). Jumpstarting Jimbo's sprinter, I think it was 4 times to get it to Steve's place, is tiring work

Paul will be posting some of his photo's soon.

MY favourite moment is Henn's special glazing on the meat

God he's a pisser and when Paul (Stockae86) shows his R31 love and rams the crap out of his from bumper and probably radiator when he's parking...

Another funny bit is where im trying to take it easy on a speed hump and Schtocky just goes flying over them out of no where because you can't hear his car...

First up, Jimbo - hope you got back to Frankston safely after that battery swap.

Second - Thanks to all for driving responsibly and making it a memorable day. It was great meeting all new people and seeing a great turnout.

    Pics coming soon.....

Things have been said in light of what happend yesterday.

Rollaclub has accused Toymods for "taking over" their cruise... despite that only 3-4 cars came.

I feel it is insult to me, and everyone here who put the effort to come and they said they only want a "Rollaclub only" cruise explicitly. I argued it was not our fault we're organised and consistant...

The original message is this copied and pasted from Rollaclub:

I was very disappointed with the RollaClub turnout. Only members I saw were Muller, TheNobbler (thanks for the ride home once again) rthy and Paul. I couldn't see anybody else. And how many people put up their hands to come to begin with? It just got taken over completely by the Toymods mob. It was under different circumstances as it was mainly based on Phrostbyte in the end and everyone headed towards Berwick Cemetary to lap around the graveyard in rememberance. If people said "What about the Arthurs Seat Cruise?" I would've said "Yep.. let's roll" .... No one mentioned a word. I printed off 30 maps to get there too. Next time, I think I just keep it strictly RollaClub. Don't get me wrong, it was good fun, talking with all the other guys and eating the BBQ food and all, but if we want to have a cruise, don't mix it in with anything else... just keep it a Rolla Club cruise. So I could honestly say it wasn't RollaClub's 1st cruise... it was another BBQ gathering out of respect.

GZE82, where you there? What car did you come in?
I DID NOT TAKE OVER UR CRUISE. I did not "ruin" your Arthurs Seat experience and you could've left anytime.

From the beginning YOU were the one who mixed up the cruise with Kevin while i have always maintained this "cruise" if it even was one... was strictly for him.

I registered and added my relpy... if they did not want to celbrate the memory and Life of Kevin with us and his family... they wouldn't have come. Period.

If anyone think i'm out of line or over reacting... let me know.

Sam Q, i told you about this before it even happend. You can go nuts anytime now.

I'm not organising anything for anyone if you turn around and tell i stole it from them.

I think the way the cruize worked out was fine Jay, John and the other boys did stick around to the end of the bbq as far as i remember so i recon they enjoyed their time with us at the park. I'm surprised they didn't have more cars from their forum in attendance. I would have gone along with the cruize if it went to Arthurs seat too (just my opinion don't take it personally, I'm not much of a cemetary person) but i guess it never really had a chance of happening as there was only a small rollaclub turnout and you were the only one who organised anything succesfully. I personally wouldn't stress too much about the comments, just leave it go man, we had a good day and that's what counts.

PS: Did Jimbo get back to Frankston on that rolla battery?
    PPS: More pics coming eventually....
