    Default Toyota Supercharger Calculator. Beta.01

Ok, so I've been playing with excel, and come up with a bit of a supercharger calculator for the SC12 and SC14 superchargers.

Can you guys have a look at it and make sure all the algorithms etc are good. There are a few dodgy ones in there, I just need another point of view to help me polish it off.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

    looks ok. basic.

1st thing: its probably worth including supercharger efficiency.

also, work with air mass (proportional to moles) entering engine, not volume. its easier to work with changing pressure/temp/volume.

The pulley ratios are incorrect, you have them setup as geared down at the moment.

Example: With 7500RPM limit and an SC14, it says the charger speed is only 5454RPM, which is a gear down of 1.375:1 (1.375 turns of the motor to 1 turn of the supercharger).

If you change the formula in cell I45 to "=I43/F28", this will give you the correct pulley sizes.

EDIT: Could you allow a custom supercharger section in your spreadsheet? Thought it might be handy for those who want to use a different supercharger then the SC12/14 units

Yea, I knew something was screwy there.... I got sidetracked... yea...

I will be adding the ability to add your own chargers, I just want to get the rest of the calculations working first.
If you can help me get the specs of some common chargers, that would be awesome.

Edit: Um, cell I45 is already '=I43/F28'

Hmm. I could have updated it in a flurry of updates the other night... Re-download it and see how you go.

Looks like you might have been basing things on this one, but there is a good SC calculator from Sprintex (though without SC12 or 14) linked to in this post.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
