Ben12a, what's been done to your oil pump to run such high pressures? That's insane that you're seeing over 100psi hot if its a standard oil system.......

Nope, it's normal. Probably why Toyota specify 5W30 synthetic oil for the 1JZGTE. You don't want to be running 20W50 dinosaur blood in these things...Originally Posted by 1JZ-Rolla

hmmm.... never saw that on mine. Then again, its was a speco gauge, so probably as useful as a grandfather clock in the car
