Remember that some people have their senders for the oil pressure gauge in different spots so this will make the number differ between engines. Once you know it is regular, you just check that it is the same as last time

Just remember that you havent had the motor to operating temperature yet.

100psi on a motor that has been sitting around idle for ages on the docks and has just started up will probably give a different reading to what you're after.

The 7psi at idle is once everything has warmed up.

The 7m recomends no less than 5psi at idle!
