gt28rs turbo=>3sgte st185 modif help

I just bought the gt28rs turbo for my 3sgte st185 engine.

Now I need help of what things I need to change in order for the turbo to be able to fit into the engine.

I just bought the turbo itself, without the kit set. Kindly explain why ?

The kit, from the explanation, includes everything you'll need to do the swap. The bare turbo doesn't. If you look at the kit it mentions it includes adaptor plates to go between the manifold and the turbo, lots of fittings, various other bits and pieces.

Best bet would be to talk to someone who has done it before as mentioned above.

If I remember correctly you are changing this to a rear wheel drive setup?
If so, you would be best with a custom made turbo manifold to suit the rear wheel drive setup.

You will then need to modify the oil and coolant lines. Plus all the other stuff associated with a turbo swap such as air filter and intercooler pipework and dump pipe etc.
