3T-TE rebuild

I have a Toyota Corolla GP Turbo 1.4L, its spitting black smoke which means that the engines about to shit itself...

I am just wondering how much it would cost to rebuild the engine, while included with a starlet turbo head (if possible to find).

I am in perth and was wondering on prices and good shops to get this done.

I am also getting a CT26 on it to be upgraded from the original CT12.

If any one has any answers or anything to say please say it as i am open to some opinions..

OH also i am going to be keeping it orignial as much as possible as i am not going to replace the engine with another.

you need to do more tests before decided its fooked, like compression, blowby, oil consumption etc. Black smoke just means its rich.

yeh but the only thing is that my mechanic wont even service it cos theres oil leaking into the air filter!!! lol

Wot i thought it could be is that its running rich, and that the turbo seals are going but im not sure. He wont touch it any more and i cant fork out alot of money as its yellowd.

Also would anyone know whos good in perth for rebuilding steering racks???
