Thanks Brett, there was a RA40 at the may 16 cruise with MA61 rims, and a bunch of KE's lol. They fit so well they should have been original equipment lol.
My stepson has a RA 40 with MA 61 rims running 215/65/14 and they dont rub and it has stock suspension should be near the same as RA 60 plus I have MX 62 Cressi with same wheels and tyres and they dont rub and its lowered also.
Cheers Brett.

The "Ma61" wheels were also on the USDM Celica GT-S RA6X Celicas as far as I know;

So yeah, they should fit fine.

Had 205s front and 215s rear. Fronts scrubbed only when full lock and braking hard (but thats how your supposed to drive ra60's...)

and you should easily be able to put more than 205's on the rear.
mine have a heap more room to go with 205's on the back.
my rims probably have close to the same as the Supra rims.

My RA65 has 15x7s and 225s all round, and doesn't hit
All done they fit, and suit the car well, need to lower the front about 30mm.

what u running them on 205/195?
Click here for Wirysage's RA60 thread RA60 front end FTW!
185s......dont laugh
there's no sidewall bulge lol
185's holy shit. I'm suprised the place allowed you to put them on the wheels. The tyre place which put my 195/60/14's were very dubious about putting them on and said in order to get proper tread wear on my wheels I'd better watch my tyre pressure alot.

I had 195/65s on my MA61 wheels when they were on the KE55, and there was plenty of bulge in the sidewall. If it was something like a 45 profile tyre then you'd be pushing 185s, but 60 or 65 gives a lot more room for flexOriginally Posted by wirysage

205's max is bs. i just put my mates supra wheens on his celica tonight and on the back we have
235's without scrubbing anything, 225's on the front sits out a little bit. going to try 215's. 205's if the
215's dont fit.

yeah, rears have heaps of room, i only used 185's cus its what was on the stogies and they were brand new tyres. when they wear out i'll prob go 195 front and 235 rear. main trouble is they chuck rocks on the paint!
by coincedince i was playing aroung restoring the spare MA61 rim today, going to paint grey bits black for more definition, see how it goes anyway.
cheers
Will.
here's my inspiration for black paint
