Hey guys,

I have a 89 cressida with a 1jz and a340 from a x81 chaser (using adapter harness to run x90 auto ecu) and just the other day while getting on the highway, the car seemed to stay in 3rd much longer than normal and if i accelerate to a higher speed, say above 50 or so, the car would jump into 4th and then right back down to 3rd and keeps jumping back and fourth like it can't make up its mind.

My O/D switch has never worked and messing with the switch as well as the pwr switched did not change the situation at all. the only mod i am running is a hks FCD.

I haven't had a chance to take alook at her yet as she is a weekend mobile. I do plan to see if i can run a diagnostic check for auto codes, but I wanted to see what you all think about the whole situation and if anyone has run into this particular issue?
