4age and toyoglide

Will these two bolt up? I have a 69 corona with a 3rc and a toyoglide. I also have a 87 ae86 with the 4age and a 5sp. I want to mate the 4age to the toyoglide for the only purpose of cost. I know the 2 speed is not meant for horsepower, but again, only at the sake of cost. I will at a later time change to a different transmission. I do, however, need to keep this car automatic.

You guys have great info on the site, I just cant find this bit of info. Thanks for any help you can give.

The toyoglide you have will only bolt up to an 'R' series engine, what you'll need is to find an auto from an 'A' engine.

Not sure what they have in your part of the world, but here we have an A40 3speed box from the auto AE71 that could work.

Other countries had an optional 4speed A42DL in the AE86.
