Also for those that went last night, how many runs did you get in as i would ahve expected a bigger turnout with most of last weeks entrants coming to this one?

Well done on that time Graeme.
The 2 guys that beat me in my runs both did a 13.3, so 12.3 would look pretty quick.
Which run of the night was that? My fastest was the 2nd of 4, but I think that was my clutch starting to go off a bit.

Anyone got any theories about time lost during gear changes vs acceleration?
Rob was having to change up into 4th, whilst I was getting somewhere between 6000 & 7000 rpm in 3rd as I crossed the line (about 155-160km/h), but my car starts to lose some of the top end puff due to stock manifolds, exhausts, intakes, etc.
Wondering whether I should've been changing up too to get the car back into the peak torque area.
If I had a bit more boost & hence more power (& all other things being equal), I reckon I would be hitting the limiter in 3rd before the line.

Did an earlier upshift help you Rob?

yeah steve, well impressed with your 14.1 stock dude...

I had to do the upshift, as I was hitting the limiter in 3rd

I shifted close to 7k in third but probably could have done 6.5k or so.. really didn't get a chance to experiment properly.. but on the good launches I did find I was back on boost in 4th.. however my controller had too conservative a 'gain' setting.. which meant boost took too long to come on
