    LOL.

    Tried swapping sensors dood?

Are you sure you connected to the temp sensor and not a thermatic switch?

The temp sensor is generally a single spade terminal. Looks like this

Well its either a bung sensor or bung gauge.

If it has a 7M, this is the best solution

The water temp gauges used on many cars equipped with 7Ms have been notoriously dodgy, including BigPerms car sitting at the lights with steam pouring out from under the bonnet and the temp gauge still sitting on "ideal"

ive had a few 7m's and never had issues with the temp guages.

what loom were you using before your "proper supra 1"? and was it all working fine before?

im guessing the 7m is in a a70, is it digi dash or analogue?

if its not wiring then id say its ur guage.

Might be worthwhile to check your earths, mainly the instrument cluster.

Yeah I will check earths...My other loom is a cressida one that has been pinned supra plugs to suit MA70 and the guage works fine. if this continues I will obtain a proper cressida loom that is uncut and wire that in my current cressida loom is good but has to many joins as it had been hack off
