    Default KE10 strut insert options

    Hey,

Just wondering what performance strut inserts people are using in the front of their KE10's?

I'm looking at re-doing the front end and running 225lb springs. Rather than having custom shocks built up to suit the KE10 (shorter stroke and valved to suit heavier spring rates) i'd like to use something to suit a heavier car. I've heard KE20/KE30 would fit. Figure this way will be cheaper as I will be able to get away with something pretty 'low performance' as they will already have been designed for a heavier car and will also give me more options to choose from. KE10's are terrible in the way of sourcing performance parts.

    Cheers

I vaguely recall fitting Ke20 gear gives you a better range of options, but you need to modify the top hat thing on the strut tower to suit.

rollaclub.com has a wealth of information on it in terms of modding early corollas, i would start with their FAQ section.
