That's beautifully done man, there's heaps of questions I'd like to ask you, but I'll leave them for now. Is that a GZE throttle body?

Heh, it used to be a little ghetto with my old conversion but the name is just a joke. Yes its a standard gze throttle body.

Interesting, is there a reason you went for that? The GE throttle body is another 1/2 inch bigger, as is the 3S-GTE one (and you keep your cold idle control)

Edit: How do you find the driveabilty and control with the turbo setup? I was worried that it would make the already-twitchy AW11 chassis nasty...

Drivability is awesome running 10-18psi, probably alot more controllable on lower boost but powersliding out of corners or just attacking them it was no more nasty than when it was supercharged, just have to controller your right foot. If you bury it mid corner the wheels will just spin... It is sooo much fun to drive though, bucket loads of power and heaps of grip.

One thing to think about if you regulaly drive it is fuel consumtion, im not sure about others but mine really eats the fuel as a 'te', also if your serious at all about drifting i would recomend staying with the S/C for now, it will teach you alot more about how to get a car to work for you, and you will aprechiate the turbo alot more when you upgrade to it

I Drifted my car with 4agze, and t-50 for almost year with no issues, however after swapping to turbo i smashed 4 in about 4 months. So it might be worth thinking about the extra cost of W-5x gearbox upgrade.

    Mine runs a t-25 turbo of a sr20, and a microtech ltx-10 computer and makes 150kw/atw on 14psi.

    Cheers

I was badly put off the idea of turbos on sunday on a motorkhana day I organised. I hopped in and out of turbo cars and mine all day, and the difference was huge. Where mine had instant poke anywhere, the lag was badly noticeable on the turbo cars. Since I do a lot of this kind of stuff, I might stick with the SC after all. Time for an SC14 and some custom managment methinks...
