Default anyone fitted ae111 twin piston calipers to ae86 or ra60 struts?

hey all just wondering if anyone has sucessfully fitted the ae111 twin piston calipers to an ae86 strut or maybe even an ra60 strut?

i have a set sitting in the shed from the front cut and i think they would be a nice addition to the levin eventually.

im guessing custom mounting bracket and a different sort of disk?

    cheers for any help

My wrecker mate had a set of the mr2? twin pistons on his ae71 corolla, using a different strut, probably ae86.

All custom bits needed, mounting bracket, disc, alloy hats for the discs.

Sell them off and find a set of rx7 alloy 4pots, at least you'll be able to get performance pads easily. There are a few vendors making brackets to bolt them straight onto a AE86 strut, there's even a set of cad files floating around toymods if you want to get your own brackets machined up.

I had a look at this a few months ago for my AE86 that's running coilover-converted RA40 struts up front.
I abandoned the idea when it looked like I'd have clearance issues running a disc that side behind the hub. being made for a ~280x25mm disc, there isn't enough room to clear the control arm when running 45mm RCAs and still have the outside edge calliper sit flush with the mounting face of the hub.

custom everything of course if you want to do it. personally,I'mbe going for a pair of Spoon 4 pots designed for the DC2 over a Z31 disc.
