Default changing springs rates in coilovers

Hey guys was hoping to be able to change the spring rates in my jzx81 tein coilovers, as far ask i know they are 10kg front and 8kg rear. Its way too soft, feeling something more like `14 and 12, question is whats that going to do for the shocks?

Or is it just a matter of changing the spring?

    Cheers

You'll probably have to increase the dampening slightly to better match the heavier spring rate.
