whats the deal with these things popping up all the time? it seems alot of people buy them and put them up for sale straight away? Are they too big for a 1jz? its just they are relatively cheap and would seem like a decent powerful upgrade. Ive been looking for a xr6t 35/40 and they seem a little hard to find in decent nick, i was thinking the abundance of 40/82 might be a little easier to get a hold of and alot more powerful of course with alot more lag.

That's a fricken big turbo mate, there's no way I'd put that on a 1jz.

I"m putting a GT4094 on my 1UZ, so a 4082 for a 1jz would be a little large I would have thought.

The fact they have SCANIA on the front cover may have something to do with it, they are not a performance turbo and are much better suited to the trucks they belong on.
