Are you shortening the strut or using it standard length?
HI all i need some help finding TOKICO HTS102s for a corona/pug/hilux coilover setup,
Has anyone else had this problem ? what other shock can i use for this setup ? and where can i buy it ?![]()
HTS102 is the units designed for the AE86. There is also a full height version, HTS112
Not sure if they are still sold in Japan, or not, but they should be available in th USA, under "D-SPEC"

I was planing to shortening the strut but at this stage it looks like i might need to keep it as is as i cant find shocks to suit.
What is a good shock to use for standard strut
A search would give you lots of information.
Shortened the current trend seems to be using KYB AGX adjustables that suit MR2 rears.
Standard you can use Koni 86-1991 Sports which are off car adjustable, or there are KYB Excel-G inserts available to suit, which are probably a bit more road oriented than track.
The below thread is an example of that set up

These will also suit... (Disregard the pic they use)

HTS102s were discontinued in 2004... good luck finding them.
Go with the AGXs, for what 99.99% of people use them for on these and other forums, there is buggerallandnone difference.

Do you guys know how much of the strut gets cut using the KYB AGX adjustable's ?
Depends on how you want to setup your suspension.
