I've allready tried that, but even at higher idle it still is rough and the car shakes a bit.

Did it solve your 500rpm idle problem when in drive?

you could also have any of a whole lot of other problems, what have you checked?
any other symptoms? (the 500rpm idle ma not be related)

Car doesn't show any other problems than that. Only other things is that I hear a rattling noise coming from the firewall when accelerating, increases with accelerating, and on cold starts the engine will shake like it's running on 3 cylinders for about 2 seconds or so, then revs go to normal idle speed.

    I've checked.

    Compression
    Spark Plugs
    Air Filter
    Timing
    Cleaned the ISCV Valve.
