Most T50 ones dont have these. They are just smooth bored, and then the clutch travel stops it from moving further. I had the same issue on my race car, i simply limited travel on the pedalOriginally Posted by cuzzo

Make sure you open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder and the plunger is all the way at the rear before you adjust the rod.
If you keep adjusting things while the plunger isn't right at the back then it will slowly move forward.

It's most likely a half broken fork and they flex eventually bending backwards. Also, pivot balls often break. This was a problem on Peugeot and every repairer kept a box of spare fork arms.
As has been mentioned, the fork doesn't look right, but the slave cylinder piston was out & cocked as well .. Whats the position of the Fork look like if you pull it forward with your hand in the direction of normal travel, ( ie; away from the slave cylinder ) how much room is left for its travel before it runs out of room & hits the cut out in the Bell housing .. ( it should only have travelled about a 1/3 if that ) ...

'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!
Simon came over the other day and he diagnosed it as something to do with the fork, most likely the pins on it aren't connected to it or its not seated with the throwout bearing correctly. Either way i will have to take it apart and investigate further. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Soooo... to dig up an old thread i finally had time today to take the gearbox out and diagnose what the problem is. For the record taking the gearbox out by yourself = fail in the waiting. Some pics:
still plenty of clutch left
Everything was moving freely on the shaft and seemed to be working well when taken off.
In the exploded diagram i have it shows there is an oil seal which is behind the throwout bearing, is this correct?
There looks to be part of a metal plate on the fork broken off, could this play part in why my clutch is acting weird?
Anyone spot anything out of the usual?
Cheers, joe

Ends of fingers look a bit rounded - measure the diameter of the throwout bearing, and the hole that the fingers create - but doesn't look to big.
But, the part that's broken is what holds the fork to the pivot, this may be causing some issues.
Yes.
It's hard to see on that pic, are they facing outwards Joey?
Well neither really, they sit dead flat. Similar to this http://blog.hemmings.com/wp-content/...04/clutch4.jpg.

Cuzzo has a good point and a keen eye. He might have picked something up.
