Default Drop in injectors for Gen4 3SGTE

    Hi guys

I'll shortly need a set of high impedance injectors for my Gen4 3SGTE, but I want injectors that will drop into the standard rail. Not worried if I need to change plugs, as long as they're available new and not ridiculously priced.

    Suggestions?

    Will these do?

These injectors are high impedance, and are 11mm top feed type. They should suit mazda fc rx7, mitsubishi evo's, some nissans and toyotas, or any other japanese import that runs 11mm top-feed injectors. Straight drop in for CA18DET, 13BT, RB20DET, RB26DETT. Should also fit 4G63, EJ20 (impeza only), VQ35DE, just make sure the resistance is right for your ecu.

gen4 are the 540cc pencil style topfeeds. Sard sell 540's that will work (common upgrade on vvti 1jzgte). It's also possible to modify a bosch EV6 style injector to work too, just a small modification in a lathe required and then run 2 o-rings.

The body on the sards pictured might be too wide.

    Edit:

Here's a pic of some modded EV6 injectors I have here alongside some stock vvti 1jzgte injectors...

The EV6's have been turned down to a diameter of 10.6mm, with that diameter extending down the body of the injector 11.5mm in length from the inlet end.

The two fuel-safe o-rings are 8mm ID and 2mm thick, so 12mm overall diameter.

    The green EV6's are Bosch 0 280 155 968, around 450cc and high impedance.

Monkeywrench Racing in the US sell a bunch of different narrow-body injectors modified to suit: http://store.monkeywrenchracing.com/...p?cPath=28_166
