Default Recommend a place to repair Oil leak in Hills, NSW???

    Hi everyone,

I have oil leaking from the timing belt cover on my Paseo '92. I have done some searching and it looks like a fairly big job that i'm not up for....

I work in Castle Hill and would like to know of good places around that area that i can drop the car off in the morning and pickup after work....

Also, would it be better if i bought the seals and timing belts from Toyota myself to ensure that genuine parts are put in my car??

    Hi,

Depending on how much work the place has to do, you probably might not be able to pick it up the same day, some garages will leave your car sitting for 3 or 4 days and only start to work on it the 2nd or 3rd day as they have other cars that they are already working on.

At least a couple hours work, plus parts. Some places might charge extra to get it done same day.

Say anything between $200 and $500 ? (VERY rough guess, but at least some idea).

Try B & R brakes in castle hill... they are a discount providing sponsor to Toymods members (give trade price on parts).... and the guys (and one girl mechanic!) there are really helpful.
    ...... butt scratcher?!
