    If you are using a 4aGE do not use the outlet in the block as a drain for the can!!!!!!

    The crank will throw oil up through the pipe and into the catch can, and the pressure in the crank case will hold all the oil in the can to the point where the can can fill up and overflow!!!!!

    I know - I have had this happen.

    YES! thats exactly what can happen

    thats why you need another drain that goes to the side of the sump below the oil level and the oi in the sumpl acts like a water-trap stopping blow-by from keeping the oil in the tank

    also mount the tank as high as possable
