It's the Tampered one on June 8th.
thats where it does sometimes get confusing
the dates that i put up are MSCA events trev puts up the tampered motor sports
and glen puts up the PIARC ones and so on
i suggest that we put up the organizing body ,along with the date and venue ,, what do you guys think

they do allow shift lightsOriginally Posted by TurboRA28

also if your crew times you before the official timing point ,there is enough time to back off
a bit ,if it is safe

Rev limiter lights are no big deal Ian, very different to some of the technology that was "alledgedly" used last yearOriginally Posted by ian
hi trev
how is your team shaping up ?
we need to have a chat to the scrutineers this year , about those allegations ,it makes it hard for guys like us to cheat honestly

So someone can be timing on the side of the track giving you a thumbs up or down?
yep thats what we do
as the pit lane is before the timing point, our crew holds up the lap board with the time of your lap as well as a + or - so say if you had a nominated time of 1;50 and you do a 1:48 the board would read 1:48 --2 which means you have about 100 mtrs to slow by 2 seconds

Ian i thought they didnt time it from the start finish line i throught they timed it from the top of the circuit to make it abit harder to do so
hi rohan
i think that the timing is still done from the short track start finish line ,coz thats where the dorian timer sensors are
but i could be wrong
big trev may know
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
All timing is done from just in front of the start finish line, there are sectors around the track that are only used for the play series called V8 Supercars.
Yeah, we are coming along OK, it looks like we might have a change of drivers, but we have someone else to step in, it looks like for us this year it will be a real father/son operation. It looks like we now have someone to do our timing which is good.
The scrutineers are a funny lot, they focus on stuff they shouldn't and miss stuff they shouldn't.
They really need to be more up to speed on the scrutineering list supplied by AROCA, not using stuff from the CAMS manual, it is just not relevant at this event.
I spoke to a certain silver ra23 owner today that says he is going to participate in this event. He also said he's got a mate with a Mazda Capella that's keen too... are we accepting other makes in the odd bods team?

It seems i once again wont be able to run, i just purely cant afford it, the weekend will cost 3 or 4 weeks pay which i just cant do,
That sucks dude... Have you considered whoring yourself? I'm sure you'd make a killing at the pub in Benalla. You'd probably make enough to cover the weekend if you worked a full night on the Friday before.
