Cuzzo will be there at 7:30, the rest of us will get there a bit after 8. Need to sign in before the briefing at 8:45, track opens at 9. If you're only spectating, you can turn up whenever you want - just depends what you want to see.

You're more than welcome to come down thursday night and/or friday too if you want.

Too many things to do before the car is finished and ive already sunk too much time and money into it. If it gets finished on time ill come down and see if i can get on the track but i don't want other people to miss out when i probly won't get it finished.

Yld, its first roadtrip will be down to Canberra to drop off the struts.

Eskys are always a good idea, but we normally just order pizza and send someone into town to pick them and drinks up - there's not really a bbq or anywhere to cook... I admit that sounds a little strange given what the place is but i don't recall ever seeing a bbq...

I'll ask Nab but i'm pretty sure that's a lot of the reason we get pizza. It's good pizza though.

This is how the weekend went:

Spent until midnight on Saturday working on the lathe and drill press - outcome was the struts are now all setup with nice new camber tops.

Sunday fitted them to the car, all came up good with my digital inclinometer indicating around 2.5 degrees neg camber - YES

New EBC in and all good.

Wideband in and all good.

Lap timer in and all good.

Tyres on and all good.

Great lets go for a test drive (late last night).

New ECU time. I worked out it died about 4 weeks ago after the last hillclimb as I noticed it doing something odd and mentioned it to 1JZ-Rolla, we just put it down to being a microtech quirk, obviously it was no quirk, just aids x 10

My weekend.

Friday night till 12pm. Fitting head/cams/beers/radiator/
Sat night Brake pads(found my old one were pretty much non-existing / EBC! /Beers/ test fit New turdbro/Turdbro filter/Modified dump pipe
Sunday tidy ups/ finish off EBC/clean the mess i made in the garage.
Monday sent rotors off for machining.

Hopefully final fit of turbo tonight/tomorrow and then tune wednesday.

Hopefully pick up a car trailer wed night / thursday.

If not ill drive it down again

Yeah sad but true, no chance of getting a new ECU this week, I've spent about a couple of grand on the rolla in the past week or so to get ready for this track day and then had to buy a new washing machine on Friday ($2k) as the old one died so the old wallet won't take another $2k hit for an ECU this week unfortunately.

The timing is just awesome

My digital inclinometer died last night too when I went to take another reading after the suspension settled. Well I guess things come in threes so that ends that.

Haha, we've got a rental dishwasher in the apartment for about $50/month - i want to see some pics or a link to this $2k washing machine!

I'll probably end up wanting one for the house and buying it in about 4 months though.
